I thought the same thing, Lisalou, as I was reidang her comments: how condescending with the dear and hon Even though I do not live off of a thoroughfare such as Mason Rd, we put a lot of thought into the purchase of our home where one side of our street backed up to a big field. At the time, the property wasn\'t designated commercial, but rather than take a chance, we purposefully bought on the OTHER side of the street that was guaranteed to have houses behind it. Fortunately another section of the subdivision was built in that field but who knew what could have been built there? Those are the sort of things you have to take into account when purchasing property. Just one of the many reasons why we didn\'t even consider subdivisions off of major Katy-area streets such as Mason, Fry or Barker Cypress. You\'ve got to think ahead!
