The most venomous snake in southeast Texas, is being found in water meter boxes. Water moccasin's are finding refuge in the boxes as the weather gets nicer and eggs are hatching. Officials are warning not to open them.
Condominium owners have been concerned that a court appointed receiver has taken their homeowner association funds and not made repairs as he was to do. A judge ruled that they can start the process to have him removed.
A homeowners association was awarded $1.8 million in damages. The jury found the developer failed to meet building codes and not protect the condominiums from water damage.
Homeowners are not pleased with the handling of a fire that started on the roof and third floor of their condominium building. It appears some of the hydrants were not used to fight the fire and a lack of water is the reason. The hydrants are on a separate private system from the public water system.
