The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that Americans spend as much as 90% of their time indoors. Unfortunately, research also suggests that indoor air quality is up to 10 times more polluted than the air outside. In fact, the EPA currently ranks poor indoor air quality as one of top five public health threats.
