Q: Some members of our association have concerns regarding the fiduciary responsibility of the board and management organization. We are apprehensive about some practices because there is a lack of transparency. Attempts to learn about decisions that have been made are met with either evasion or with responses that are misleading or contradictory. Letters and emails written to the manager and board members relating to financial matters are not adequately addressed. Alternative ideas or suggestions offered by the owners are regularly dismissed.
